Last week: Macau and Hong Kong

The holiday in the lovely Hainan island is finished. Our bus leaves in 5 hours (and what struggle to get those tickets again - have not enough time to explain now). First we take a ferry to get to the main land. Then we continnue by bus to Shenzen from where we most probably still need to take a bus to a harbour where we catch a ferry to Macau. Ferry, bus, bus, ferry, taxi and finally we can arrive after more than 15 hours of travelling to our ***** hotel. The island of Macau doesn't provide much cheap accomodation so we ended up taking the cheapest we found. But the difference is huge compared to where we stay now. A shabby hostel 40 yuan per pers per night, fine hotel 220 yuan per pers per night. On our traveler's budget there is a different if you pay 4 euro or 22 euro. But let's enjoy this one time!

Here our yesterday was the same as the other days. Beach, some sun and sea. And of course me eating the tasty fried squid again from the outdoor restaurant. We we're alsoy enjoying tasty corns.

Macau for two nights, so till Sunday. From there we head to Hong Kong by ferry. In HK we stay for three nights, Tiina for four nights. Me and Suvi leave on the 15th which is Wednesday and Tiina the day after. My flight is delayed from 9.00 till 23.30 so I still have one whole day more in HK than I expected. But that means I have one day less in Sydney. It doesn't matter too much as Gabriella won't be around as first planned. Instead I will visit her parents, Dad is Finnish (Reijo) and Mom Swedish. That'll be interesting - will stay at their place for one night.
