Saturday 28th Feb Travel to Kanchanaburi - sleep off Chang over! Sunday 1st of March Spent today trekking at the stunning Erawan Falls. There are 7 tiers to the waterfall and various pools along the way suitable for swimming in and sliding off the rocks, much needed when you have been hiking through the jungle in 36degree heat!! Monday 23rd February After the blissful 6 days on Lanta it was time to pack the bags and get back on the road. We decided to take the train up to Bangkok from a town called Trang. Saturday 14th Feb, 1st stop local food hut for the best Pad Thai in the Siam Kingdom!! Monday 9th of February, A Long trip to Kaula Lumpur to Penang. During a stop off met an Irish couple who informed us that there are new visa rules in place for Thailand - you can only get a 15 day visa if you cross the border by land, for longer you must apply and PAY at a Thai Consulate. Arrived in Penang in the late afternoon and spent half hour dragging around with a rip off merchant taxi driver to find Boons Guesthouse as recommended by the Lie family. Hard...
