The last entry of my holiday! Oh my god can't believe I start the journey home tomorrow!

This last two weeks has been total indulgence in Bali. Bali is not what I expected to be honest. Kuta where I have stayed is very touristy, not that pretty but great for bars and beach. Alot more like Thailand than I imagined but fairly quiet with Westerners since the bombings.

I started off staying in Seminyak in a grotty hotel that whilst nice room was opposite a 24 hour Karaoke bar (I thought of Mel!) so was really noisy all night. Also the pool was actually attached to the main building with no actual sides to sit on as it was surrounded by walls (I later found out it was only used for Thursday night pool parties, of the naked kind - gross) and came back on my second night to see some blokes being given a lapdance in the bar. So I moved hotels to one in Legion which has been great. Alot more central to the nightlife and the beach, fresh towels and my bedding changed everyday and lovely staff.

On my second day I went on a tour to the North of the Island. Saw an amazing waterfall, Temple on the Lake and had a dip in the Hot Springs, and checked out a Silver workshop and Artists studio. Very cultured me.Whilst on the tour I met a girl called Megan who was staying at the hotel I moved to and she knows my friend Ben Fox from Edinburgh (small world!) so we spent the first week hanging out together, sunbathing and getting wasted. Lots of fun.

We went to the new Paddys Bar - just down the road from the original bomb site and Memorial. Not very busy but they are trying to get people back in the doors by offering cheap drinks and live music so thats all good.

After Megan left I have spent the rest of my time generally lazing about. Hit the beach most days and would sit and eat amazing fresh fruit salads, get cheap body massages (at one point I was getting my feet massaged, my hands, my body and getting eyebrows plucked at the same time - what indulgence! And all for about 6 squiders!). I also had a Surfing lesson. Obviously I was dreadful - despite having two instructors! Managed to stand and ride a couple of waves to shore by the end of my two hours, however this only happened a couple of times and I drunk so much seawater I was weeing all night! Lots of fun though and it gave all those sunbathing a good laugh too!

Spent alot of time shopping in between the sunbathing and getting a couple of suits made - although with no job its not likely I will need them for a while!

Today I had four hours worth of beauty treatment - massage, body scrub, steam, cream bath, facial, hair treatment! My skin feels like a babies bottom! A fantastic way to end my trip!

So thats it, tomorrow I leave. I have had the most fantastic four months of my life. Have met some great people that I am looking forward to seeing back in the UK, have seen some amazing places and need to come home to save up so I can do it all again!
