Hey we're back to civilisation . When I spoke to you last we were on our way to Nelson..well due to the wonders of NZ technology that was a week ago I belive ..and this is the first chance we have had to get back on line..( nothing to do with the fact that we have just spent 4 very relaxing and romantic days in a lodge called Hopewell on the Pelorus Sound ) We had a couple of nic edays in Nelson back at The Green Monkey.This is the one where Jo makes a cake everyday for the residents...should be here any minute now !!!.And we've just returned to pick up all our rubbish we left here...so for 1 night only ..its fish and chips and a pint of scrumpy for tea AGAIN .The lodge was amazing and we walked for 4 hours UPHILL !!! to a place called Pete's Peak..not sure why its called that and so far no one can answer our question but hey ho.We collected mussels and oysters off the beach and had a huge feast up.How fresh can u get ??Met some great people too . Shame the weather was nt perfect but u cant have everything.So just arrived back at Nelson for an overnighter....and cake....soon!!!...and scrumpy and some of the best beer in NZ ....and fish and chips !!!Tomorrow we fly to Auckland Where we are hiring a car and driving north to Tinopei to stay with Roxy and Karl in their other house.This one is on the beach.Hpoing they might travel with us for a coupla days further north.We are being sent to check out a lodge called Endless Summer Lodge that is for sale...George and Jo found it....thought we might like to buy it for them for when they finish travelling ????Dream on kiddoes...God ...the cakes arrived and I cant reach it from here ..and it looks like its chocolate so .........byeeeeee xxxxxx
