So we've been settling into our new home and jobs for a few weeks and chose our first weekend away at Taupo; only a short 2 hour drive south. Have spent our first week settling in and exploring the local area. On arrival we stayed with the Higgins family (recruitment agency) for a week.....we were very well looked after and they are the most hospitable family.
