We just came back from Mach Picchu yesterday after a 4 day trek which was awesome even though it rained for 2 of them. Still, its not as if we were slumming it as crazy porters ran up and over the mountains with all our stuff (while only wearing sandals) and then set up our tents and prepared our 3 course meals! We ate like kings with tea and coffee brought to tents in morning, then breakfast, lunch (also 3 course), tea (lots of popcorn) then supper. In cuzco now which is wicked city high up in the mountains with loads of old squares and weird art shops. So naturally we all got paintings and will be interesting trying to get them home undamaged. You can"t go out here without getting mobbed by kids selling cigarettes and chocolate and men trying to get you into their restaurants and clubs with offers of free booze. So going out is cheap as you move from club to club taking advantage of the freebies. Oh yeah, Edd is some kind of idol here as school children started chasing him and asking for photos for some weird reason. Was hilarious for me and Tim but Edd didnt think it was too funny although I think he kind of enjoys the attention! Chris
