A sleep in! Which meant we were up by 0700 and looking for hot drinks. Thankfully Ali had also woken early so were able to get the charcoal out and boil water. The morning was spent organising what we wanted to take on our 2 night houseboat R&R.

Before departing for the boat we started a murder game - each of us took 3 slips of paper (one name, one weapon, one scenario). If you are killed you hand your murderer your 3 slips & they become a serial killer.

We boarded the truck & went in search of SIM cards - however the one place Ali stopped was charging 3x what the going rate is so those who were looking for one declined. In the meantime, Kitty, our oldest trucker murdered Mark with a cup in the shower by chucking a cup of water over him on the truck! Brilliant start!

We arrived at the harbour & boarded "Osprey" our home for the next two days. During this time I was murdered by Julie - the 4th ghost of the group. Julie killed me with a Brillo pad whilst I was being squished by hippo & crocodiles. A little imagination is required at times ;-)

A relaxing afternoon as we floated east along the lake to moor at an island. The cage was lowered at the back and a few people swam although no-one saw crocs in the water with them. A one hour sunset cruise on the small launches with a drink in hand was a pleasant interlude before a delicious dinner of beef. Although it was "party night" once the drinking games started we left the youth to it & departed to bed. As Tessa & I had scored separate rooms we were able to lie in our beds gazing at the amazing array of stars through our wide open windows.
