Funny, but the journey today, although not particularly long by comparison, seemed to go on and on. As we got nearer to Shelly's, we both kept thinking we recognised things we had seen on previous visits and therefore thinking we were almost there. But eventually we were at the junction for 415 and we knew we were definitely only one road away from our destination.

So, after six weeks on the road and over 6,000 miles, we have accomplished the first part of our trip. We will have a base with Shelly now for about a month and, even though we have had a fantastic time whilst on the road, it will be good to just "put down roots" for a while, catch up with Shelly and all or friends here and to get into the atmosphere of Daytona bike week. We also have some other exciting things planned, so keep watching the site for more piccies and new from Florida!
