So I really can't tell you to much about what happened today because I slept for most of it recovering for the last two days. This morning we caught the Northumberland Ferry over to Prince Edward Island (PEI) of which I again took advantage of the sun and fell asleep on the deck for most of the 75 min trip. Once on the island we stopped at Point Prim to stretch our legs and explore the beach. The highlight would definately be when Matt through his frisbie into the bush and spent the next 15 mins looking for it to only throw it straight back in there.
We then headed off to Charlottetown to have a walk around including Confederation House, Cows Icecream Shop, Anne of Green Gables Shop (to buy chocolate covered chips) and according to Matt, the highlight of the trip, Squiggles the dog who lives in the comic book store on Queen Street.
That afternoon we headed off to Cavendish aka Avonlea, where we were staying the night in beach cottages. We had decided earlier on in the day to go out to Charlottetown for dinner, so while the boys went and sat on the beach to watch the romantic sunset, the girls got frocked up - I can't explain how great it was to straighten my hair for the first time in 3 weeks.
So we headed of to Charlottetown for Dinner and then across the road for a few dinners and getting jiggy with it country and western style before heading back to North Rustico Beach (where we had stopped at prior that afternoon) at 12:30am to have a few drinks however it was freezing cold and what resulted was the human cuddle which was pretty much everyone huddleing together like the penguins to say warm. I think I eventually made it to my nice warm bed at 3:30am.
