Today was an early start in order to get to Heathrow in time to catch my flight to Canada! The flight was just under 7 hours however it seemed to go really quickly and given the freezing cold temperatures I have felt behind in London I was so pumped to find Halifax hot and sunny! After what seemed liked forever on the Airport Shuttle I finalised checking into the HI and then made a made rush downtown to the camera shop before they shut in 10mins to get a new memory card as I had run out of space - how can one person take 632 photos is 9 days!!

With a few hours of sunlight up my sleeve I headed down to the waterfront to check out the tourist area (and being the planning nerd that I am take some mental notes of tourism and port integration). I also went for an evening stroll around the Citadel for views of the City - it is so much nicer than when I was here 5 years ago and it was below zero.
