I can't believe I swam with dolphins this morning. At 10:00 this morning we walked into the classroom to learn fun and interesting facts about dolphins. We were then given a wetsuit and water booties to put on before we went into the water. The dolphins we got to meet were 4 girls called Jasmine, Chelsea, Mattie (my absolute favorite) and the other ones name I can't remember. First we got to pat Chelsea, next Jasmine came up and jumped onto the platform we were sitting on, after that all 4 came to us and we got to do some signals to make them jump really high in the air. Then Mattie came to us one by one and we got photographed kissing her, making her speak a clicking noise, and dancing with her. Once that was over the adults got to ride Chelsea round the pool but I got to ride Mattie! It was sooo fun you could feel the power of her tail bumping my belly as she swam. After every trick we got to feed them a fish as a well done treat! That was what we did in the water so after that we got dressed into our clothes. Did you know we found out that all their dolphins paint! We got to see some of the paintings by certain dolphins, also they sold small necklace charms that are replicas of the different dolphins fluke (the paddle of their tail) with the name of the dolphin on the back. I got one of Mattie's which came with a tiny painting by her and a certificate and picture of her. Check out our other pictures swimming with them in the San Francisco photo album.
