As we will be having a boring travel day to New York we treated ourselves to huge breakfast at Cody's, best place for breakfast in La Jolla. Lovely Fathers, spent the day relaxing!! On the beach (or at least mum did) as phoebe and I lived the Californian dream and boggie boarded our time away. Really loved the time and experience with my little girl, who is going to have to go some to top this on future fathers day

Wow what a great day we've had at San Diego Zoo. It's a huge zoo inside a park with lots of trees that makes it look very natural. First we went on the zoo bus tour to check out where our favourite animals were located, also it showed you 70% of the zoo.then we set out on foot to visit our favourites, it's so big we couldn't see them all. Had super day at Sea World in Dan Diego. Lovely hot weather and a relaxed day. Saw the Dolphin, Shamu Orca and Sea Lion shows, these creatures are just sooo clever. The coastline south of LA is much more what we expected of Calufornia. Miles of golden sandy beaches and surf. The best areas we passed through were Huntington Beach, Newport, Dana point and Laguna beach. We arrived at La Jolla ( pronounced - La Hoya) , near San Diego, about 3 pm , it's a beach area about 30 miles from the Mexican border.
