Hi,

We have been in Bangkok now for 3 nights. Haven't had a chance to write yet as we have spent most of our time chilling out and resting. Unfortunately my tunny bug turned out to be salmonella...which meant we haven't really done much other than sit in the hotel room. thank goodness for star movies channel!! but i got some medicine and im half way through some antibiotics now and beginning to feel normal again!! Tom is still fit as a fiddle! We did go out one night to my favourite bar as i really wanted to show Tom. It's called the shamrock irish bar (Alice you might know it?) and they play live music all night. The band are amazing and we were very impressed. They play a whole mixture of english songs and requests. Thats pretty much all to report for the last few days!! Tom's done a little shopping and we've walked around a bit. Today we have booked our night bus up to Chang Mai. That will take all night and then we have a pick up at the other end to take us to our guest house for one night. We have also planned a 2 night 3 day trek including elephant trekking and bamboo rafting etc. So that should keep us busy! Tom is missing working and being active (personally I'm fine just chilling out!) so he is excited about finally having something to do. Unfortunately we have spent a bit too much these last few days as i picked a nice (expensive) hotel for our first night and we ended up staying three nights as we didn't think it was wise to move around. But it couldn't be helped and im just glad we our back on our way again travelling to a new destination!

i hope evryone is well at home? Hopefully we will speak to you this afternoon as we are going to try and ring home yay! Suprisingly (as usually I'm fine) I have been the homesick one and can't wait to chat to everyone. Whereas Thomas has been fine and not too worried! We are looking after each other though and still having a great time. I will do my best to get Tom to write the blog next time.
