As you can see whilst Ann searched the gower with the able help of Daisy for an open fish and chip shop on a Sunday night Ian taught us a couple of Morris dances and played the tin whistle. When I say a couple I mean the chorus of one and the verse of another and even that resulted in injury and much exhaustion .
We drove home late hoping to avoid the traditional speeding tickets and then had to manoeuvre the van into position and fall into bed.
Richard was up when I woke, 2 lots of washing actually hung out on the line !! We spruced up the van and ourselves and generally left a lot of sand about the house (sorry J and B )
We then said our farewells to Stephan in Worcester. W and R met up with us at the Diglis, it was as good occasion as you could hope to have.
Then more packing ( why do I have a sense of déjà vue?) and finally off to Portsmouth. Fab super in the Ship and Castle a lonely relic of a building surrounded by port development. And now were waiting the call to actually get on the ferry. I've got some fruit and nut so we can identify lighthouses!
