The final blog. Today I returned the van to the wonderful people at Campervantastic. The van was everything we had hoped for and all the little extras made a real difference on our European adventure. It made camping way more comfortable; according to Rory. Today was the last day of the entire holiday!! I can't believe it's already over, but it's nice to be back all the same. We had to make an early start and get out of our hotel early, so that we could board our ferry at 7:45 (latest). We got through customs fairly quickly and managed to board at 7:40. As you can see whilst Ann searched the gower with the able help of Daisy for an open fish and chip shop on a Sunday night Ian taught us a couple of Morris dances and played the tin whistle. Today was exhausting. A full day at the beach doing all sorts of things (including sand dune jumping!!). The waves were the biggest so far and everyone got in the water. The big drama of the holiday was when I lost my action camera to the waves on friday whilst bodyboarding! We searched and searched but could not find it.
