We lazily got up enjoying our last night in a proper bed, breakfast on the terrace again, Kathryn had been to the boulangerie so a selection of pain au raisin, almond croissant, chocolate croissant, bread and Nutella, melon coffee with sunshine after the huge dramatic storm we had last night at the very end of our meal when within seconds of the first drop it was if the skies were tipping a swimming pool over us!
We packed and said goodbye after our fabulous stay and as K and M set off for Pezenas market we dropped in at Carrefour and stocked up on goodies. After this we needed reviving so stopped at a deli type patessierie for lunch before we starting the next leg of our trip.
We were pleased to set off in the heat of the day in the comfort of our air conditioned van for Spain. It was the first journey that has been delayed by traffic, half of France seemed to be setting off for the Spanish border.
We finally made it to our campsite, right by the sea with pool and bars etc. Very busy and much less tidy than your Swiss sites but everything you may need. We checked out details for getting into Barcelona in the morning, cooked on the Cobb and went to bed late (it was very hot but there are no flies )
