Checked out from Ti after a brief bit of gambling. Managed to double our money and then plough it all back in! I hope they spend that $1 wisely!

Back to the laundromat for another batch of washing, then started the journey through Death Valley. Just to make sure that we didn't die of starvation, we grapped Wendy's for lunch (Burgers etc). Good food, but another dose of portion shock.

The drive through Death Valley was spectacular. Mountainous, desert, snow patches, hills of reds, blacks, creams. Magic. We stopped in Bishop around 7 and picked a hotel at random. The girls liked the look of the fairy lights, which was as good a reason as anything. Quirky, quaint and warm. It's starting to get rather cold here!

Tomorrow we head to Yosemite and Bodie State then find a bed for the night. Time for bed!
