We got to stop and watch a big herd of cattle getting mustered across the highway today. Had a lovely lunch at Longreach where we temporarily thought Sean was missing until we found him hiding in the car eating all of the lollies.
Then we got to go the Age of dinosaurs museum at Winton. It was great to see how excited the boys were to be there. It had some awesome views and was great to see all the dinosaur bones and learn about them. Amazing how they can find the bones as to me they looked like rocks. Once again my Sean wanted to give me a heart attack. We walked in to start the tour and they had these logs along a wall which he of course decided to balance and walk along. It was a 100 year old branch from a type of tree, needless to say we got him off there quick smart.
The boys were very excited to spend some of their pocket money at the gift shop. Deciding on what however was painful.
By this time it was 5 o'clock and time to park up in Winton for the night. Night 2 set up seems we've found our groove already.
Still haven't had a wine yet. Should be able to fit my cask in our engel tomorrow now that we've eaten all of the pasta and most of the pizzas and quiche.
