Arrived in Lao Cai at 6:15am after an interesting night on the train- the guards like smoking and this travelled nicely through the air con at various times during the night. Kids all slept well though!
Caught a minivan to our hotel in Sapa.
Super friendly staff - in fact all the people we've met so far have been incredibly helpful and friendly.
All felt a bit jaded after the night train so all the girls had a foot massage and Rex had a body massage for 45 minutes - bliss for $5 each!
Rest of the day we cruised around Sapa town and chilled back at hotel getting ready for our overnight trek the next day.
