Sam again...to write a brief note on Surfers Paradise. Now don't let the name mislead you, paradise it is now. Not unless u adore concrete, tat and more concrete. It is a concrete jungle and mainly residential. It has a cool beach, but when we were on it it was really windy and so we were pretty much sandblasted. It rained a lot while we were there too. We played mini golf one day which was quite good but wasn't really that challenging. Just a few humps and obstacles to tackle. It's more fun if its nigh on impossible. The best bit was where a croc jumped out at u in its cage (not real obviously...no wthat would have made it extreme!).
Err...what else? I can't really think what to say about here, Just I didn't like it. We stayed in a lovely hostel though and played a card game with a French guy (I kept winning...Amy lost). The name of the gme was 'a**hole' - if u lost u won this title. So Amy has a new title. Amy Warner, MChem A**hole. It suits her well I think. Lol.
The best bit was the bus ride out of there which took us to Byron! A great place! see next blog for more!
C yaaaas! xx
P.S. We also had our cut in Surfers....we went to a learn how to do it salon and Amy had the most frightened trainee, she wouldn't cut as much off asAmy wanted, she was too scared. ANd my guy, the cut was okay, apart from he didn't thin it which is really what I wanted lol. And he blow dried it into the biggest bouffant I've ever seen! I looked like I'd stepped out the 60s....flicked out underneath, curled under on top....i looked like lady penelope after a particularly rough ride. Upon returning to the hostel we both redid our hair ourselves. I also did a quick trim job on Amy's hair.
And that's about it really...
