Our last blog from Auckland as we pick up our the juce box tomorrow our speedy Daihatsu and get on the road to explore the rest of New Zealand.

Today we got up and got going early for the ferry to Waiheke Island. It promised and delivered in every way! They have a saying on the island, "if you're not bare foot, you're overdressed", and we could definately get on board with that. The island is completely beautiful, blue seas, dense forest and white sands on deserted beaches. Its hard to believe you are just half hour from Auckland city centre. We spent the day chilling on two beaches, Palm Bay and Oneroa Beach, and inbetween we had a lovely sea food platter lunch with local wine and beer.

Probably going to have to move here.
