Collected the Rav and hit the road for the 2 1/2 hour drive to myrtle beach and about an hour into the drive i mentioned to mike that there were a lot of motor bikes on the road! Little did we know we were gonna be seeing a lot more bikes and bikers over the next couple of days as myrtle beach were hosting Bikers Week and we were arriving for finale weekend!! Bikers week basically involves thousands of bikers and their partners riding down to town for a week of parties and roadshows! You have never seen so many Harley Davidsons in your life! Can say having probably seen every one ever made that they are actually an art form every one in immaculate condition.

Our first night was spent at a centre called broadway by the beach where we had a liquid tea and got into the spirit of things at a rock concert being held in the centre of the complex! Truly hilarious sight the two of us moshing with thousands of big hairy bikers and their scary wives! Was by far the best and funniest night so far!

Next day was spent nursing a hangover starting with an all you can eat breakfast buffet with all the bikers introducing us to the marvels that are grits, biscuits and meat gravy all very tasty but full of butter, cream and fat! Filled our boots and then collapsed on the nearest beach to catch some rays! Spent the evening at another complex called broadwater bit quieter but equally entertaining! Would definitely recommend bikers week to anyone you will have a new appreciation for motor bikes and meet some pretty cool folks you would not normally get to meet!

Now its in the car again off to Charleston in the deep south! YEEEEEEEEHA
