Hello All!

Wanted to thank everyone for my birthday messages, we havent been on the internet for over a week so i have only just read them (and its the 27th here!) woops!

We did go on the dolphon trip - and we saw 2 huge pods (one pod of common dolphins and one pod of bottle nose). However, as both pods have babies with them we wernt allowed to swim with the pods, but they swam with the boat for ages and Jess and I were right at the bow, we were so close that the dolphons spat water out their blow holes on us numerous times and you could hear them talk between themsleves incredibly clearly, it was awesome! The skipper did take us to a rock in the middle of the ocean to snorkel as we hadnt been able to swim wit the dolphins and we saw some massive schoals of fish! that was pretty cool! i also went boomnetting (ul have to look that one up!).

Jess told the skipper it was birthday so he announced it to the whole boat (along with the fact i was beautiful and single) in order to find me a man in the boom net - that was pretty cool too, and they gave us a free bottle of sparkleing white which we cracked open and drank on the bow in the sun!

We went out for dinner in the evening and ended up in a bar called Saltys - which had a quiz on, and we sis pretty well , didnt win tho! - the bar also gave me a free drink as i had turned 22!

We have spent the rest of the week pretty much on the beach, the weather has been nice - although it has clouded over today so we are inside!!

We are here till Wednesday when we go bak to Auckland for our flight on Friday!

Am very much looking forward to Figi!

Have been looking at accommodation in Bay of Islands- Pipi Patch looks good and is close to the beach. $28 a night though so expensive- hope you find something comfortable.
