Hey, two places to update on, possibly two of the best places in New Zealand!Weather is still great, not a cloud in the sky.

After the night in Auckland we headed to Waitome where we saw glow worms hanging off cave ceilings and had a tour around all the caves. Then we headed to the Black Water Rafting....basically involves sitting in a rubber ring and floating down underground rivers in the dark checking out the glow worms close up and jumping off waterfalls backwards (still in the dark with just a head torch on!).Pretty cool!

Spent the next day walking up a hill above Waitomo to a beautiful viewing point where we could see for miles. Then back to hostel for a quick change and back to Curlys bar for Roasted pumpkin and feta salad (Jess) and veggie burger (Grace) and a few ciders (Jess) and spritzers (Grace)!

We are now in Rotorua. We've pretty much done all the things we wanted to do in New Zealand in about a week!

After arriving we checked into the Astray hostel which is cheap and clean and in the town centre. Then we booked onto White water rafting down the Kaitaki River! Absolutely AWESOME!!! rafted down the highest commercially rafted waterfall in the world (7 metres) and floated down another rapid out of the boat!

After the rush of that we had a sedate trip up the Skyline on a gondola then, once at the top we raced down three tracks on a luge!obviously I won!!

Today we have been to the Te Puia thermal region to see the geysers, hot springs and bubbling mud pools. The picture above isn't the actual place but is the closest I can get.

Just off out to find some food and chill out by the massive lake. Off to Taupo tomorrow for bungee jump or sky dive!!
