Kia ora!
At long last, our gap year travels have come around and we're off to backpack around New Zealand for two months and Fiji for another! But whilst we're on the other side of the world, we would like to touch base with our English friends and family to keep you up to date with our adventure! So we hope you take a peek every now and then at what we're getting up to, and enjoy!
Haere rā and peace out.

Fantastic blog Em :) it all sounds like you are having so much fun, i wouldn't be surprised if you two tied yourselves to one of those beautiful trees and refused to come home! The visit to the children sounded lovely, right up your street :) the pictures of the waterfall look incredible i'm not jealous at all! i'm kinda sad that this blog might be your last :( i've enjoyed reading them so much! Alycia turned 18 the other day and she can't wait for you guys to get back so we can all go out :) and i'm just about to go check on the doggles since your mum and dad are at folk by the oak for the day :) love you lots, can't wait to see you when you get!! xxxxxxxxxxx

Have just looked at your latest photos- what a fab time you're having-it all looks so idyllic. Emily-for gods sake stop wearing that huge baggy stripey t shirt and get some vitamin D on your skin! The swimming in the waterfall looked gorgeous- i would have enjoyed that too though i would prob have wanted to go in with no clothes on so it's just as well i'm not there to embaress you! Emily, write your blog cos i cant wait to read the next/ last installment. It'll make a fab book to read on those rainy days in England. It all looks so amazing, i wonder how you will cope when you get home...everything will be sooo dull! Still, there's allways Digby! Looking forward to seeing you soon and having a lovely cuddle. Dad's taken Tracey to get a new kitten today- a little brown fluffy thing-aaaah. I'm just about to go for my first dip in the pool of the day and tomorrow we're off to Folk by the Oak with Hannah and Pete. Ta ta for now-love you zillions. Big kisses, love Ma x

Hi there my lovelies- have just had a second look at your photos- it all looks sooo gorgeous and so do you both- i agree with Tracey- make the most of it and get a bit of a tan to make everyone jealous when you get home! emily, I LOVE the braided hair, its really pretty- hope you are keeping them in or if not, get them done again before you come home. Notice i keep mentioning the word home- i'm really looking forward to seeing you but i know you may not be so eager to see us lot cos then your fabulous adventure will be over- still, there's a summer of festivals to look forward to. Dad and i are off to the Folk by the Oak on Sunday- I'm planning on sitting in a deck chair all day and just letting the lovely music flow over me! The weather here's been a bit naff for the last week and we havn't been in the pool for a whole week-bah! Love you lots and hope the pleasure continues. No pressure, but one more blog pleeeeease! love and kisses, ma xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Hi sweetiepops! I'm pining for a blog- i know it's more difficult on Fiji, but if you POSSIBLY can, tell us what you're up to. Hope all that lounging around on glorious sandy beaches isn't too boring, har har! I'm doing really well and toddling about on my new legs- they've quite suddenly got a lot better and i'm feeling gooood! Dad n i went skinny dipping in the pool last night at midnight- it was so hot (i mean the weather!). It was fab! I went to the saff do last night and lots of people were asking how you are getting on- quite a few are reading your blogs and looking at the photos- SO GET ON AND WRITE ANOTHER ONE- i can't wait for the next exciting installment. Hannah and Pete have gone on holiday to the lakes in my little car-it was stuffed up to the gunnels with camping gear! Love you sooooo much and hope all's well with you. Love marmy XXXXXXXXXXXX
