We had a bit of a sleep in this morning and after breakfast we went into the centre of Florence where a local guide showed us around.We went to the Piazza Santa Croce and Signora, Palazza Vecchio, the Loggia de Lanzi and the Piazza del Duomo and it's cathedral.We also went to a leather factory where they showed us how they emboss the gold onto the leather and to basically sell us their wares.The old city of Florence is quite beautiful and we really didn't get enough time to explore it.We had a gelato because apparently Florence has the best but it pretty much tasted like all the others.After lunch we went to Pisa to see the leaning tower.It was really great but once again there wasn't enough time to have a good look at the rest of the "Square of Miracles".It was really fantastic though,and l'm glad that l've seen it.The weather was quite warm...it reached 26C and no rain even though it was forecasted.This is our last night in Italy, tomorrow we go to Switzerland.
