Langkowi: - We got up at 6am and got a minibus to Satun, south Thailand. The journey was really long and we were crammed into a tiny minibus - not much fun! - We arrived in Satun at 1pm and got ferry across to Langkowi - which took and hour. - The rain seemed to follow us to Malaysia and at the port it was p@#*ing it down! However we got a taxi to Pantai Cenang and the rain seemed to ease off. - We spent ages looking for a cheap hostel, and as we were walking along the road a jeep pulled up and a long haired bloke asked us if we needed somewhere to stay....we agreed to go with him to the guesthouse 'Zackrys', a lovely place just up form the beach. - This evening we had an early dinner of Fish and Chips and curry and then proceeded to have a barbecue at Zackrys - we were stuffed, but it was a lovely night and whilst the boys played pool, the girls watched 'predator' with a young boy who was far less scared! The weather was still pretty dull.
