6th June 2018 - Well (I must stop starting a sentence with that!) we got up to a very cold start this morning only 3 degrees! however, what took the edge of this was being surrounded by kangaroo's being our only neighbours. Needless to say we didn't venture outside to have breakfast.
We then headed off towards Mount Gambier, visited the Umpherston Sinkhole that is also known as a sunken garden. What a beautiful place.
Next stop the Blue Lake, unfortunately not so blue as on reading it is only truly blue in November…. So I guess we missed out on that one.
Drove to Robe via the scenic route taking in Beachport.
7th June 2018 - Decided to have a rest day today and explore the area of Robe. Being the Rock Lobster Capital of South Australia we couldn't resist buying one for our dinner.
Very windy day today. Nearly got blown off the cliffs taking pictures of low flying Gannets.
Went on several walks and did some Off Roading and Oh! Anne saw her first Wombat (no not a dead one), it was actually alive and sitting by the side of the track.
Early to bed as have an early start tomorrow.
