Got my bag and tried to go through to departures but was told I was too early so I waited in the main area, where I met a young 20 year old Indian called Prasenth, who was studying engineering at Mysore waiting for his flight home. Was good to have someone to chat to and he was very helpful. Waited 8 hours with him and watched the world go by. Lots and lots of Indians! Felt a lot like Kuwait and this helped. Oh and lots of moustaches, an all year round movember seemingly.
Going through hand luggage security I also got craicing onto an irish lad, looked like a graduate, and he explained he had been over here for 3 weeks with IBM.
More waiting and I eventually board plane 3, a very vivid orange interior Air India plane. The views coming in were absolutely stunning, it did not even feel real. The blue Arabian sea on one side and MILLIONS of palm trees to my right. I had touched down!!!! Overall the journey was abit weird, I often had to fill in pointless pieces of paper, got told to go pass desks where others had to show pieces of paper etc :S, constantly had to show my boarding pass, even when getting off; and even got a domestic flight from the international departure area.
