Pokhara is, compared to Kathmandu, a very green city. There as large trees along the roads, and many flowers at hotels and restaurants. It is also located a bit lower in altitude than Kathmandu, so the weather was nice and warm. At Pokhara we visited the SOS Childrens Village. The village was established in 1975 for helping Tibetan refugee children, and today they have 12 houses with each 5 boys and 5 girls in. Besides this, they have a school and help around 95...

We are now in Pokhara, where we will spend a few day. We will visit the SOS Childrens village (which we are one of many sponsors of), visit a friends sponsor child in a Tibetan refugee camp, and otherwise have fun and relax! After this, we will go for a 3 day rafting trip of Seti River, were we will also try kayaking :0) On our way back to Kathmandu, we will spend a few days in Chitwan National Park, and finally see elephants!
