Certainly was an early start ..... but yet again the train trip to the airport was easy and stress free. Despite the 4.39am train from Sutherland... we were checked in and through customs, immigration and security and looking for coffee by 5.40! Unreal!
Korean Air check-in was the quickest ever....and the 11 hour flight to Seoul was great. Raym reckons he had plenty of leg room and the two meals plus snacks were pleasant - Korean and Chinese options. Easily fitted in three good movies plus a decent start on my
book “Sinning across Spain”... (think I’m going to enjoy it Susan!)
Fascinating arrival into Seoul ... quite mountainous, winding waterways, farming areas, dotted with pockets of intense high rise looking uniform and Lego-like. Incheon airport appears to be located on an island linked to the mainland.
Once through immigration and customs we were soon on our transfer bus for the 20 minute trip to our home for the night - the Golden Tulip Hotel. Very modern hotel in suburban area - loved having a wander around after we had quickly settled in. Then back for our buffet dinner (included in the “free stopover”) ... a couple of Korean beers (not a wine in sight...?!?) then off to bed.

Megan Goode A great start
Marr Great start. Pity about narrow losses: Sharkies, Socceroos, Wallabies. Dad
Leanne Quinn Glad that Korean Air got the tick of approval Jen. I am looking forward to the future updates. x
