...because we are in hilly Folegandros, and have decided to tackle our stay on foot (aided by the occasional public bus). At only 11 km long, the island is really a walker's paradise, although mostly in the mornings and evenings when the heat is bearable! Also, as our daily Greek cuisine consists mostly of bread and cheese in various formats, we figure the walking/sweating can justify the indulgences.
This is a really lovely, secluded island! We are staying just outside of the Chora (main village) which is the perfect place for strolling among sweet cafes, and whitewashed churches. Some of the beaches have been a bit difficult to reach, but every sweltering journey is met with the same crystal blue reward!
Oh, and Troy has decided he likes olives now...what?! He cuts them up into tiny pieces first, but he is eating them.

Carrie Amazing photos guys!
Ness Even Greek food couldn't convince me to like olives.
Clare Hansen Thanks, Carrie! They are Troy's :). Ness, I can only take olives when they are cut up into little pieces mixed with other things!
Caitlin Ha ha ha Troy! What kind of olives?
Clare Hansen The black ones...although he is already having second thoughts and picking them off again in meals (not that they are in many things in Vietnam.)
