Sooo after the storm...Janine and I walked to Ville de Conde.together..the weather was STELLAR as you will see in the pics. Janine had a room booked and I checked into the Albergue for 11€ a night and decided to stay a second night as well. We had a great lunch and went to a lovely market and the beach after lunch..felt soo Awesome to be on the hot sand! I bought fresh veggies and made a BIG SALAD for lunch/dinner the next day...Janine trucked on in the am....

Hi Everyone! Here in Porto...for a few days. Big events here..there is a big football match...Friday and Sunday, so people here from all over the World...lots of drunken debauchery...what will happen in Doha?????lolol. Wow..this place was a MIND BLOWER... One little town of castles of the rich and famous that were the Portuguese elite. After the BIG earthquake that took out most of Lisbon on November 1st 1755.All Saints Day, most people who were still alive wanted to be HIGH UP and on ROCK...so the rich ended up in this little Vortex town not far from Lisbon and bought or built these castles...WAYYYY UP HIGH...lovely town..shrouded in Stories of the Knights Templar and the F...

Love this town...totally chill vibe here, and lots to see and do! Experiencing a heat wave..30C plus so sticking around for a while and exploring before heading to Porto next week. Went to a lovely beach town a 1/2 hr train ride from Lisbon called Cascais..and spent a beauty day just chilling. Did a walking tour of Lisbon with a cool young lady that took us off the beaten path to a lot of great places I shall return too and I learned a LOT! Heading to Mystical...
