Started walking Today..June 6th from Porto

Left about 9am..everyone else seems to bolt in the am...early...there seems to be an ANGST to get accommodation in the Alberges ...was stressing a bit too about that..and the guy running the hostel gave me some good advice...”God ALWAYS PROVIDES”!

Of Course...even here...just LET GO AN LET THE MAGIC HAPPEN Ev
Sooo I’m walking alone for about 2or 3 hours and and it is cold and blowing a wind big time. I meet 4 German ladies and we decide it’s time for coffee so we stop at a place on the water..and in no time at all...it starts to POUR and I mean MONSOON!
Out comes the rain gear and covers...ponchos...etc and 3 decide that they have another hour and a half to go....Janine and I are going to a campground with cabins...1/2 hour away...thinking warm and DRY and off we go and in we go 11€ per night and a Pilgrim dinner too.Turned the heater on and got our stuff dry for the next day...YAY! We were warm and cozy! Can’t imagine what happened to the other 3 ladies..or how far they walked
