Phuket 11th May - 18th May (Day 69 - 77)

Hi Everyone

Hope all is well, we've been in Phuket now for 7 days with one more day left.. booo. not looking forward to hostels again..

It's been lovely here, the weather has been gorgeous and we didn't have to worry about it being monsoon season here. I think we've had a couple hours of rain the whole time.

We haven't been up to much, just lazying around by the pool, the beach, and watching DVDs. This is definately the life...

Since the room has wiped out our budget we've had to compensate this by making our own dinners which have consisted of cheese or peanut butter sandwiches with a packet of crisps, brought in the local supermarket known as "Tesco". We were surprised to see one here since there are only a few restaurants and local marts.

Tomorrow we are off to the Philipines to meet up with Amber and Cecila who we met in Laos. We are not quite sure what we want to do there, but i'm sure it will include lots of beaches and swimming. We are not looking forward to the journey tomorrow, we have got three flights in the space of 24 hours and lots of waiting around and sleeping at the airports.
