Hey All! Just a quick update cos I'm using some free interenet somewhere! Have been in Kuala Lumpur for nearly 2 days after getting up very early yesterday morning but gave us the afternoon to fully explore the place. It is very hot, humid and busy here but at the moment it is sheeting rain because it's currently the monsoon season! So the four of us from the group decided to make the most of rain and go to an indoor theme park - great! We've been up the Petronas towers (twin towers in picture at far end) which was good but also went up the KL's sky tower which was amazing - very good views over the whole of KL and a great audio guide! Lots of shopping here so have been doing a fair amount of that especially at the chinese night market, lots of haggling! But now I have some green sunglasses and I'm going to get a cheap 'gucci' watch tonight! Our hostel (yes hostel not hotel!) is fairly decent, it has air conditioning so max and i are happy! Although they were fumagating today so hopefully we will be all bug free tonight! It's one of the girl's b'days today so we are all going out for her birthday, somehow I don't think it will be an early night! Tried to get one last night but the bar across the road was giving away free frozen margaritas to women so some of us just had to go! We are off to the Cameron Highlands tomorrow which are meant to be beautiful although a bit of a long bus journey there. Not sure if I'll be able to update from there but will try to soon.
