Me again !! Sorry done this a bit topsy turvy but didnt want to lose wot i had already written so where was I ...ah yes Vang Vieng..organic Mulberry farm.

Lesson in senses at the school..the kids were gorgeous and we had to teach them about the 5 senses.For hearing Blob decided to get them to repeat "I.......can...hear....a.....BANG and proceeded to drop a huge stick on the floor at which point they all jumped out of their chairs and laughed and laughed. We played bingo for colours and for smell...? Did the I can smell ....Tina..NOT AMUSED lol.It was brilliant cant wait for Cambodia.I took on the writing on the blackboard as most of u know spelling not his strong point.And for all u kiddies out there ..their version of heads shoulders knees and toes ..was more than impressive especially the speeded up version.

Loretta and Roland our 2 aussie friends...hell someone has to talk to them lol...joking...helped make this the best part of our trip so far .Helped of course by Mary and Katherine 2 american birds in their 60's (who were based in Laos in the peace corps some 45 years ago and had come back to see the changes )amazing stories and personalities bigger than....huge !!!Mr Thi and his wife and all the girls from the community who worked there gave us such a tearful wave of fand I cant thank them enough for all the suprise banquets they thrust upon us and the hospitality they showed us was incredible.Completely loved it and Blob wants to move in ......hmmm?

From here we made our way on a VIP minibus ...right !...to Luang Prabang where i am writing from now .The journey was in a brand new minivan very luxurious unless....ur sharing it with...a nice Bavarian guy and a nice Portsmouth guy no probs there and 2 european guys and 2 other waifs and strays from Laos ...and a dead chicken a a very large very alive rat type creature tethered by the ankle to the base of someones seat....luckily not ours !!!!!I think i spent the next six hours of the journey wondering what i would do if the creature gnawed his way thru and started charging round loose .We arrived in one piece and are staying in a very nice guesthouse extremely clean and very good location.We went to the buddha caves and the Laolao whisky caves yesterday on a boat up the Mekong..perfect morning and then Blob headed off for yet another massage...so cheap and he comes back black and blue.This morning he went off kayaking for the day in the mountains and i think they were calling in on a tribal village for lunch.Should be back soon....I've got ankles like elephants trotters so i found a great bookshop and visited the palace museum and walked and walked and visited 2 temples and found my own way home after lunch beside the Mekong....very civilised.Right I'm sure I've bored u all rigid.Hope ur all well and warm.Speak soon xx
