Hi peeps well its that time of year again and we're on our holicups.Arrived in Kuala Lumpur on 26th Jan and spent a couple of days at Reggae Backpackers...thanks for the recommendations..very clean ...for a wardrobe...but air con kept the oxygen coming so all in all very nice and a great location.Blob had great fun at the night market teasing the dvd sellers in particular with his requests for betamax videos.We also bought a very nice "north face day pack that is on its last legs but hey ho.Some of u might know that my nan lived in Malaysia back in the 1920's so we managed some research as she had left a letter that she wrote b4 she died a couple of years ago and we have her address.Hoping to have a better try on the way home.From here we flew on to Vientienne the capital of Laos and found a great guesthouse in the city centre.The french influence in this country is immense.We were both so suprised at the produce they have and all the meals we had here were awesome...well except the last one...happened to be the most expensive one too.Hmmmm this is when my back went....yep deepjoy but a week later after a bit of rest and eeyore carrying my pack as well as his....its not bad.Apart from Blob being propositioned by a prossie !!! and a tuk tuk guy trying to sell him Ganja !!!.oh and meeting Bob an 82 yearold canadian who had got himself banged up that week for punching a drunken Laos man in the face for kicking a dog....pretty uneventful really lol.

Then we caught a VIP bus..hohoho (very insignificant person) to Viang Vang...party time !!! NO..we caught a tuk tuk straight out to the organic mulberry farm and Mr Thi.We had the most amazing time here and met some wonderful people.We ..well Blob helped in the veggie garden (massive)and i shouted instructions..no change there then I hear u say lol.We did go into VV town a couple of times but not our bag..lots of spaced out kids sprawled on sofas watching friends.Exactly as the guide books said ...back in 2007...nothings changed..Wont bother with that again.

Back at the organicfarm we stayed in a bungalow on stilts very comfortable and the bed was very clean but the room did smell badly of gecko poo...no worse than Gill during muckspreading season really...(not that bad).The best day we both had was when we went and taught at the school
