Perm, Russia Jul 22, 2011 Hello everybody, Yesterday we went for an explore of Perm. We are definetly out of the Euro zone now. As evidenced most by the fact that none of the Menus are in English and nobody speaks it either!!! Dinner on the first night was very nice - Salmon Steak for me and Beef in Mushroom sauce for Claire after much gesticulating the waitress and us were tired and we thought we had it - until we realised we hadn't ordered any sides and they didn't come with the meal...

Perm, Russia Jul 20, 2011 Well this has proved fun!!! So yesterday morning we woke up all relaxed and refreshed after going to the ballet. Claire was snoozing and I was looking through the paperwork for the train. When she was awake I remarked how I was surprised that the train to Perm only took 3 hours.
