Helloo! We spent most of the 7th at the opening music event to kick off the Sydney festival. It was very funky - we had a picnic at the main stage then wandered round all the other stages, one of which was in the middle of the road in the central busines district! Hello all, We are still soaking up the sights and sounds of Sydney, thankfully most of the big museums are free so we are feeling very cultured and stuff . . . we have also done a lots of walking around the city, its quite compact so no need for trains and busses. Hello from Sydney! we enjoyed new years eve in Brisbane - we went out for a lovely meal with David (my second cousin) and Jess his girlfriend, and then walked up to the kangaroo point cliffs to look over the city and the river for the fireworks.
