Hello everyone, We are still in the sleepy city of Luang Prabang. We spent a few days cycling and wandering through temples, in the old city there is a temple every hundred yards or so. Its all been pretty laid back really, we've held off moving on for a few days due to the uncertainty of Bangkoks flood defences but we have decided to bight the bullet and go tomorrow. Hello everyone! We are now in Luang Prabang, it took 7 hours to get here on a less than savoury bus - not helped by the the young local girl who hitched a lift for a short time and sat next to chris who promptly threw up everywhere . . . Mmm nice. The roads were mostly dirt tracks up the side of a mountain so appart from the stunning scenery it was a bit of a white knuckle affair. Our driver wasn't too bad he only attempted to drive into other vehicles 2 or 3 ...

Hello everyone from Vang Vieng, Lao's party town - well sort of, even when it's busy it's kind of sleepy. We've been here three days now and the weather has been spanking. Part 4 of the big catch up - Vientiane, Laos.
