Hey Everyone,
Just writing in to check in. I am back in Dehra Dun this week except this time I am at a new homestay family. I am staying with Mrs. Sehti who has in a way already adopted me as her son. She makes absolutely wonderful food and I have been eating to my hearts content. This morning I had a pear, chai tea, and fried potatoe balls with catchup. Last night I had pasta, bread and tomato soup. It's just me in the house so I get to talk with Mrs. Sehti and her son Sunny. Sunny is an interesting guy. This morning we talked all about Indian politics because next month he plans on going to the UK to study Internation Relations. We talked about India's growing as a world power, the relations with the US and stuff about Pakistan. It's all very interesting and makes me want to pick up a minor in internation studies or something. Really I hope to pick up a good book on the subject.
The only rotation I have this week is with Dr. Gandhi. He still amazes me and let's me do more things and asks me questions. I hope to really learn from him about all his hard work and sacrifice and hope that I can discover more about the man behind the legend. I am also going to post about my trip in Amritsar not last weekend but two weekends ago, just to give a glimps of what trips in India have been like so far. This trip seems to have all the general trends in one story and might be enjoyable to read despite its length.
Any it's almost time to leave so I hope everyone home is still doing well. My spirits are high and I am very healthy. Take care of yourselves and each other and America.
