So, this very regal chuck is called Louis XIV or Louis Quatorze he is owned by a local and definitely rukes the roost at home - he definitely likes to get his own way and is a right bully to the other cockerals and chucks : (((

The breed is called Silkie, because they are and as you will see in the photos of the others, ther are lots of different looks, but htey're very entertain gto watch, are good lay-ers (about 3 eggs a week each) and love to eat cake (Madelaines for a treat.....

Very interesting when you think that Marie Antoinette was purported to have said "Let them eat cake..." coulddhe have been referring to the chucks I ask myself...... :)
