So here I am finally beginning my adventure en France...

The last couple of weeks have seen me walking in woods and hills around Deveze, Gensac-de-Boulogne & Blajan...complete wth mad stick diving and swimming dogs : )

The countryside as you can see from the photos is stunning and soo pretty, my approach to walking has become even more Forest Gump oriented and when not in the hills or the woods am walking into the nearest town/village of Boulogne-sur-gesse to get the baguette for lunch.... fabulous : ) - have also done a little driving - is not as bad as I anticipated....but will see how it goes if I need to do any distance....

There are lots of local village summer fetes on at the moment which are 3 day weekend events that truly celebrate summer and where there are stalls and entertainment - next week is the nearest one at Castlenau- magnoac (this is such a pretty little town/village) so will celebrate summer lots too !!! : )
