Well I've been in melbourne for 11 weeks now and could see myself living here in the future, I'll probably come back in the summer months as i could imagine that it's lovely here in summer. I've only got one more week at work and I'm counting down the day until neil and ali get here (11 days) then my travelling can really start. I cant wait to go and find the sunshine as I need a tan as i've had two winter this year!!

Over the past couple of weekend I've visited some of the local beach as you can see from my photo's. Williamstown is a harbour/beach about 20 mintues southwest of melbourne, with lots of restaurant and coffee shops along the harbour and the day me and angela visited there was a local market selling lcoal produced gifts and food. It was really nice to get out of the city and see what is around melbourne. Fitroy gardens is about 15 mintues walk from where I'm staying so I decided to go with jo and jill (some girls i've met) to see the sights we went to c*** cottage and the fairy tree which someone craved fairies and animals into it a sight to see in the gardens I wasn't that impressed but I can say I've been and seen it.

Last weekend I went to brighton beach as the weather was great beautiful sunshine but a bit fresh, just like when mum and dad use to take us to bournemouth in winter. Again brighton is about 25 mintues outside the city, it's nice to be in different surroundings and see some different sights but I could see the city in the distance. The beach was really busy with families kids on bikes and people walking theior dogs, people rollar blading. The photos of the beach huts are just like the one's in bournemouth but as the photo's show they are nicer and more colourful.
