well what can i say about fiji!!! the flight was quite short from auckland and it was a good flight. When i got to fiji it was raining and that lasted all my first day. i stayed at the nadi bay hotel resort in a dorm room which was nice as i shared it with 3 other girls and no men. I went into the town in the afternoon to get some supplies. Anyway the second day the weather was a little better no rain but also no sunshine. I started my tour of the fiji island....

Well after I left franz josef I went to wanaka further south on the west coast. The place was beautiful which great views and a nice realxed atmosphere. It was only a very small town I went and looked round the shops and it took me about 45 minutes. I went for walks round the lake and did some sunbathing before heading to fiji. Well the second part of the north island starts i river valley on the west coast of the north island. We stopped here for white water rafting as it has the best grade 5 rapids in the country. I didn't take part in the rafting as i didn't have any contact lenses and didn't want to risk breaking my glasses. Well i left australia for new zealand the flight was only 3 hours and a time difference of 2 hours, it was another place to start travelling for 7 weeks. The journey from the airport to the city was just like looking at the british countryside then town. The house are very like those at home and it's very green here unlike oz. I stayed at as hostal in the city quiet central which was good but the hostal was crap, very noisy with thin walls between rooms!! Anyway...

Well i flown to tasmania from melbourne and the flight was only 1 hour so that was nice to start the journey. Got to hobart about 3pm and headed to the hostel it wasn't very nice and i spent my night there having people talking outside my window until 3am not funny when i had to get up at 5.45am to start the tour. never mind doing tour you don't get much sleep anyway.
