Today I got home from Stockholm, where myself and 2 friends stayed in an apartment right in the city!! It is a beautiful city but was BLOODY FREEZING with Saturday being -18C brrrrrr!!

The city itself is made up of little islands and all of them have different little things! It's got a lot of shopping streets in the newer part of the city, and in the older part there are lots of beautiful old buildings and a castle and other political buildings that are really nice to look at. The small streets in the old part remind me a little of London or Rome but really the city is like Sydney with a few nice landmarks and lots of shopping activities and restaurants. I personally couldn't spend weeks there but it may have been more enjoyable in the summer. The people are lovely, the transport seems to be fine and English is spoken in mostly every place which is a bonus!

We spent most of our time eating, walking and just experiencing the city which was really relaxing and with our apartment being really central it made it easy.

I had to invest in some new gloves however as the tips of my old ones began to freeze over with actual ice on the coldest day and I went into some sort of shock hahaha :) good times

Definitely a beautiful city !
