Destination three, AUSTRALIA BABY!!

Ok, we arrived into sydney after a 12 hour flight on tuesday. Soph was so impressed with the flight, she was a like a child at christmas, eveything they did she just got happier and happier. they gave us menus for the flight, ice cream after dinner, cadburys hot chocolate with a marshmellow on top, a snack pack, fruit and drink through out the night, she was in her element too as the plane was half empty so we got a few seats each. Now, who ever knows soph, they know that she absolutely loves new zealand, nothing can beat it, however, on this flight she said that it beat air new zealand! i wanted to get it in writing but i though it may be pushing it haha. In sydney we needed to wait for 6 hours for an overnight bus to melbourne (i know we are nuts, but it was the cheapest way), so we sat down and waited, however, we are so clever that we sat right at the front of arrivals, like nobody loved us and didnt want to pick us up and this combined with the fact that lots of people were having happy arrivals made us a little homesick. After the 6 long hours we got on a 12 hour bus journey to melbourne, which i thought went pretty quickly, soph thought different haha.

Our first day in melbourne, was recovering from the jet lag haha, we slept for the duration of the day and then went to buy some food for dinner and then to find later in the night that as we had slept suring the day we couldnt sleep in the night, smart move from us!

So, a very tired two girls were up at 6am to go and see the Great Ocean Road, which is absolutely beautiful!! we saw the lighthouse were the 90's tv show 'round the twist was filmed', we went to beaches, the tweleve apostles, london bridge and a beautiful gorge. There was more, but i have forgot what they are called now haha.

Our next day i got to meet up with my friend Ashton who is out here playing hockey for 5 months!! it was awesome seing someone from back home, but felt proper wierd too. me, sophie, ashton and her friend lisa went for lunch, then went around the city and shopping at the vic market (where i got a bargain on some UGG's... yea baby!!) and then we went for beers!

Then it was back to bed, however, again, jet lag was not my friend and i spent until 3.15 staring at the bunk above me, just as i am about to drift off the fire alarm goes off! im going to kill the cheeky get who was smoking near a fire alarm when i get him. After that i couldnt get back to sleep and then i was on the neighbours tour with sophie (which i needed sleep for she was that excited lol). I have to admit the tour was pretty good, we got to see the house and have a picture with the sign and then go and see the garage and all the other bits and bobs to do with the show. Then we got to meet a member of the cast, who used to be in it a few years ago called Janelle, she played stingrays mother, proper loud. In person totally 100% different. Mum - i got you her autograph and a little present from the set too.

So, thats it for melbourne, we head off on another overnight bus tonight to Adelaide where i get to meet up with my uncle dennis and his wife pat, im so excited to see them
