Arrived in Rurrenabaque by microlight aircraft. There were 6 seats in total including the 2 pilots...it was bizarre and had i not already conquered my fear of heights I would have been petrified!!. As the flight had been slightly delayed we drove by jeep straight to our canoes to start our 3 days pampas wetlands tour. There were 8 people on our tour and 2 lads in particular were great for banter. The tour itself was great we went anaconda hunting, piranha fishing, swam with pink nosed dolphins (and alligators) and saw loads of other wildlife along the way. Then I did a jungle trek which was great as I saw orangutans. I was getting really bitten by the mossies until the guide rubbed the bark of a garlic tree on me...it worked...!! Hiked up to the top of one of the mountains in the jungle and saw macaws that were nesting there it was really beautiful.
