Tomorrow is the start of our Asian Adventure. With now over £137 spent in 'Boots' on medicine and toiletries and with prebooked accommodation, I think it's fair to say we are going 'travelling' rather than 'backpacking' (although we are taking backpacks!) In the 6 weeks that lies ahead of us, we will be visiting 4 countries, taking 8 flights and staying in 9 guesthouses... I cannot wait!

Ever since I got my job in London back in April 2018, we said we would save to go back to visit the school in Cambodia and then explore familiar and unfamiliar destinations for the entire length of the summer holidays (thank goodness for being teacher!) and now the moment has come. Thinking back 5 years ago now when Tom went to volunteer in Cambodia I remember thinking 'let's hope you like it so much we can go together'... and the dream is now becoming a reality. I can't wait to travel my favourite continent with one of my favourite human beings.

Note to self: Do not put on a stone and a half in beer weight like you did 7 years ago!
